1943-2019

Maggie Colleen McGlone Duncan, 76, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Friday morning, May 31, 2019 at St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, KY.  She was born in Carter City, KY, March 24, 1943, a daughter of the late Reeder and Florence Fultz McGlone.

Maggie was a long time member of James Chapel Community Holiness Church and was a Sales Associate at Tackett’s Furniture in Olive Hill.  She loved shopping, working in her flowers and gardening, animals and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Joseph Ray Duncan in 1982; one daughter-in-law, Sherry Stamper; one sister, Vaudean Erhardt; two brothers, Wilson McGlone and William L. McGlone; and one sister-in-law, Mary McGlone.

Maggie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Phillip R. “Fuzzy” Duncan, whom she wed March 5, 1975; two daughters, Pati (Steve) Porter and Becky (James) Manning, both of Olive Hill; three sons, James Crider of Olive Hill, Doug (Tina) Crider of Clifton, TN, Glenn Stamper and Estill Stamper, both of Olive Hill; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at James Chapel Community Holiness Church in Olive Hill. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast in Grayson, KY.

Friends may visit from 6-9 PM, Monday, June 3, 2019 at James Chapel Community Holiness Church, 2491 St. Hwy 1025, Olive Hill, KY. Arrangements have been entrusted to Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Olive Hill, KY.
