Lloyd “Bruce” Henderson, 66, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest at his residence on Monday, December 3, 2018.  He was born August 13, 1952 in Olive Hill, KY, a son of Lowell Henderson the late Jean Ann Burchett.

In his youth, Mr. Henderson worked for L.A. Henderson Funeral Home as an attendant and ambulance driver.  Later, he was employed with Local 1216 Laborers Union out of Mansfield, Oh, where he worked for 20 years.   He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion #138 and has served as a deacon of Henderson Branch Christian Holiness Church for 20 years. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife in 2012, Connie Henderson; his step-father, Ray Burchett; and one sister, Rhonda Lee Burchett.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Betty Jane Henderson; two sons, Jody (Angie) Henderson and Ronnie Henderson; one step-son, Dustin (Merideth) Chapell; two step-daughters, Tina Meadows and Donna Walker; two brothers, Kenton Ray Adams (Sharon Daniels) and Vic  (Sharon) Henderson; five grandchildren, Kayla Richmond, Hunter Richmond, Makayla (Billy) Barker, Ashtin (Scott) Flannery and Emilee Henderson; a step-grandson, Jeffrey Comstock and several other step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Bentley Henderson. Bruce also leaves behind several other relatives and friends who will greatly miss him.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am, Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Dean officiating.  Burial will follow in the Carroll Cemetery, Olive Hill, KY.

Friends may call after 6:00pm, Thursday, December 6, 2018 and 8:30am to 11:00am, Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service, located at 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.
