Keith Edward “Beatle” Gee, 66, of Olive Hill, Kentucky passed away peacefully in his home early Tuesday morning, December 24, 2019. The second son of the late Virgil and Dora Gee, Keith was born February 5, 1953 in Ironton, OH.
A devout Christian and member of the Olive Hill Church of Christ in Olive Hill KY, Keith led songs and served as Treasurer and Trustee for many years.
He was a United States Army Veteran serving toward the end of the Vietnam War, and Lifetime Member of the Olive Hill American Legion Post 138. After his service he worked as a Heavy Equipment Greaser retiring after 45 years. Following his retirement Keith worked for Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & East KY Monument Co. in Olive Hill, KY.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Joseph Gee, and his sister Carolyn “Johnnie” Johnson.
He is survived by his wife Alberta Gee, his two sons: Terry Gee and his wife Amandae of Olive Hill, Kentucky; Tyler Gee and his wife Amber of Cincinnati, Ohio. His two stepsons: Wilbur Spurlock and his wife Lisa of Ashland, Kentucky; and Jason Spurlock and his wife Misty of Olive Hill, Kentucky. Two siblings: Kay Rice and her husband Ronnie and Phillip Gee and his wife Elexis. His grandchildren, Corina Barker (Kade), Terry Austin Gee (Danielle) Brianna Gee, Brayden Gee, Jason Gee, Dylan Gee, Ammon Gee, Taron Gee, Amelia Gee, Dalton Spurlock, Lindsey Spurlock , Kaleb Spurlock and Kyle Spurlock. Two great granddaughters: Charley Grace Barker and Emma Lee Charity Gee. In addition to these he is also survived by a host of relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Monday December 30, 2019 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Olive Hill, KY with Bro. John Brown and Bro. Brent Duncan officiating. Burial will follow with Full Military Honors at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 PM Sunday December 29, 2019 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY 41164
