Gayle, I hope you remember me. I'm one of the twin girls that attended the Church on Henderson Branch while you and Johnny were there in the 70's. Nancy is my sister. It's been years since we've seen you but I saw Johnny's obituary and wanted you to know that you're in my thoughts and prayers. We never talk about Olive Hill that we don't mention our little Chuch on Henderson Branch. We have such fond memories of that Church and you and Johnny are part of those

John Parsons was one of my favorite teachers ever! He taught me many things....the game of basketball, the importance and wonder of science, sportsmanship while being competitive, discipline and respect. However and perhaps more importantly, he was an incredibly kind and humble man who loved teaching! I greatly admired him! I always called him "Coach" and continued doing so throughout my adult life. Thanks Coach to the hundreds of kids you impacted. We are all better off knowing and being associated with you! RIP!

Mr Parsons was my all time favorite school teacher in west middle his creativity was incredible especially when he made a cannon out of soup cans I admired his love for people to make sure they were saved see u in heaven my friend

I have always said that if the world had more people like Johnny, we would Never have to lock are doors at night! Johnny was my best friend, my Sunday School teacher, one of my Heroes, & He was My Mintor. As you can see Johnny was just my family 😢😢. I miss him already, & He will be Sadly Missed by a lot of people, mainly by the people that didn't get to visit him. I thank the Good Lord Above that I got to see him 3 times. Thank you Jesus!
