Clara Alice Fielding, 88, of Olive Hill, KY, entered into rest, Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation in Grayson, KY. She was born, June 9, 1931, in Olive Hill, KY, a daughter to the late Owen and Effie Tackett Fielding.

Alice graduated from Erie High School in Olive Hill and was a life-long member of the Olive Hill United Methodist Church.  She retired from the City of Olive Hill Utilities office after 39 ½ years of dedicated service.  Alice’s love for her family knew no bounds and she willingly stepped in to care for them throughout her life. She was an actively involved aunt for her many nieces and nephews.

Alice is survived by six nephews, Brent Henderson, Greg Henderson, Steve Barker, Patrick Fielding, Mark Fielding, and Jamie Fielding; five nieces, Mary Lankford Ford, Mendie Lankford Butterworth, Trish Lankford Ludwick, Jane Fielding Pritchard, and Susan Barker DiSanza; and one sister-in-law, Doris Fielding.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Pat Fielding, Roger Fielding, and Ford Fielding; and three sisters, Myra Sue Henderson, Wanda (Ollie) Barker, and Delores “Dodie” (Mel) Lankford. She was also preceded in death by four nephews, Marty Henderson, L.A. Henderson, Owen Fielding, and J.B. Henderson; and one niece, Melodie Lankford Keaton.

Funeral Services will be conducted 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 22, 2019 at the Duvall and Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Bro. John Lambert officiating. A private burial will follow Monday, December 23, 2019 at the Olive Hill Memorial Park.

Her nephews and great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.
