Brady Franklin Sparks, 68, of Ashland, KY entered into rest Sunday, December 29, 2019 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born February 5, 1951 in Grahn, KY, a son of the late Chester Worth Sparks and Eva Tackett Sparks.

Brady was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator with the U.S. Forestry Service and H.P. Contractors. He was an avid deer hunter, enjoyed fishing and storytelling. Brady also was known to be jokester, but most importantly he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant children, Deborah Denise and Brady Scott; one grandchild, Meghan Rae Sparks; three sisters, Phyllis Labor, Arbuita “Boots” Rousseau, Anna Pearl “Perky” Sparks; and one brother Raymond Douglas Sparks.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Diana Dickerson Sparks, whom he wed April 12, 1972; four daughters, Jammie (Eddie) Wright of Rush, KY, Angela (Greg) Wall of Ashland, KY, Tammra (Rick) Sparks of Friendship, OH, Brandi (Travis) Layne of Olive Hill, KY; one son, Bradley Sparks of Ashland, KY; 15 grandchildren, Keshia (Ryan) Sharp, Dylan (Brianna) Wright, Devan (Abby) Satterfield, Tyler (Chyna) Wright, Braxton (Jessi) Sparks, Payton Sparks, Caiden Sparks, Marissa Sparks, Bentley Sparks, Bryson Sparks, Journey Sparks, Brittany Childers, Jasinda Childers, Olivia Layne; seven great-grandchildren, Haeleigh and Coalton Sharp, Alex and Asher Satterfield, Kora Marcum, and twins on the way, Brady Wayne and Braelynn Rose, and three special friends, Harold Burke, Chris Kiser and J.C. Greenhill. In addition to these he is survived by a host of relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday January 4, 2020 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home in Olive Hill, KY with Bro. Ed Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Maddix Cemetery in Grahn, KY.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM Saturday January 4, 2020 at the Duvall and Moore Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 149 Whitt street, Olive Hill, KY.
