Alice Gail Tackett Rogers, 74, of Medway, OH, entered into rest Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  She was born December 16, 1943 in Olive Hill, KY, a daughter of the late Everett and Jewell Fannin Tackett.

Mrs. Rogers retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Dayton, OH with 32 years of service. She graduated from Kentucky School for the Deaf in Danville, KY and served as President and Secretary of Dayton Deaf Resource Center where she was involved with activities for deaf and hearing-impaired senior citizens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Rogers; one sister, Joline Furnish; and two brothers, Roy Tackett and Russell Tackett.

Alice is survived by one daughter, Tami (Randy) Tackett; three sisters, Juanita Oney, Phyllis Osborne and Jean Reid; one sister-in-law, Doris Tackett; one brother, Bill (Sue) Tackett; six grandchildren, James Manning, Jerry Tackett, Angie Ramey, Ashley McKenzie, Dakota Tackett and Daneyl Tackett; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home with Bro. J.C. Bond officiating. Burial will follow at the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.
