Yvonne Oney

1940-2016

Yvonne Oney, 76, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Thursday morning May 26, 2016 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY. She was born March 19, 1940 in Greenup County, KY a daughter of the late Woodrow and Beatrice Conley Watson.

Ms. Oney was a CMA having worked for Dr. Smith in Olive Hill and the Life Care Center in Morehead, KY where she retired in 2005. She was co-founder of the Oney Funeral Home in Olive Hill, KY; served as Carter County Deputy Coroner for 12 years and was a member of the Olive Hill Wesleyan Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Gary Watson.

She is survived by two daughters, Carmaleta Oney and Natalie (Jimmy) Bullins and one son Billy Luke Oney all of Olive Hill, KY; two sisters Vivian Pruitt and Brenda Abrams both of Ashland, KY; one brother Mark Watson of Ashland, KY; two grandchildren Ashley Bullins (Josh Mabry) and Jimmy Bullins both of

Olive Hill, KY; one great grandchild Amelia Mabry.

In addition to these she is survived by a host of relatives and friends that will sadly miss her.

Friends may call 5-9 PM Friday May 27, 2016 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home 149 Whitt Street in Olive Hill, KY.

Private Interment will be conducted Saturday at the Old Field Cemetery near Sand Gap, KY.
