Vernon K. Johnson

1932-2014

Vernon K. Johnson, 81, of Olive Hill, Died Saturday at Elliott County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sandy Hook, Kentucky. He was born March 5, 1932 in Carter County, Kentucky, a son of the late Eligah and Beatrice Walker Johnson.

Vernon was a Farmer, Trader, and was of the Christian Faith.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Allen Johnson and Vernon Keith Johnson both of Olive Hill; One daughter Jeanie Lynn (Billy) DeHart of Morehead, KY, and 6 grandchildren, Holly Johnson, Kenny Johnson, Lucas Johnson, Bonnie Jean Johnson, Junior Fisher, and Shay DeHart.

In addition to these Vernon is survived by a host of friends that sadly mourn his passing.

Funeral Services will be conducted 7:00 PM Wednesday February 26, 2014 at Duvall and Moore Funeral Home in Olive Hill. Burial will follow on February 27th at the Johnson Cemetery on Bens Run.
