Richard Allen “Dickie” Carpenter, 64, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest Monday evening, August 3, 2015 at the Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.  He was born May 4, 1951 in Grayson, KY a son of the late Joseph Eugene Carpenter and Lorraine Layne Carpenter of Olive Hill, KY.

Dickie was a retired Construction worker, attended the Olive Hill Church of the Nazarene and was active member in the Olive Hill Senior Citizens.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one infant brother Larry Carpenter, Paternal Grandmother Birdie Carpenter, Maternal Grandparents Sadie and Estill Layne, and several Aunts and Uncles.

Dickie is survived by three daughters, Ella Lorraine Carpenter of Parma, OH, Stephanie Marie Schofield of Strongsville, OH, Richelle Elizabeth Moreland of Cleveland, OH; one son Richard Steven Carpenter Sr. of Cleveland, OH; two sisters JoAnn Davis of Olive Hill, KY and Jewell Rice of Frenchburg, KY; three brothers Ronald Carpenter of Shelby, OH, Tim Carpenter of Clearfield, KY, and James Carpenter of Olive Hill, KY.

In addition to these Dickie is survived by several loving Aunts, Uncles and Relatives that sadly mourn his passing.
