Odell Sparks, 79, of Enterprise, KY entered into rest Tuesday Afternoon August 25, 2015 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, KY.

Odell was born February 10, 1936 in Rush, KY a son of the late Matthew “Boss” Sparks and Lucille “Lucy” Hutchinson Sparks Jackson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. Odell was a member of the Olive Hill Church of Christ for 24 years.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Wilma Conley Sparks; two sons, Philip David Sparks and Martin Wayne Sparks; A daughter Diana Lynn Sparks Godfrey and Her husband Donnie; five grandsons Chris Godfrey and his wife Ashley, David Godfrey, Connor Sparks, Morgon Sparks, Maurie Sparks; two granddaughters, Cassandra Godfrey and Samantha Gibbs, two great grandsons, Marcus Godfrey and Christian Godfrey; one brother, Ellis “Erk” Sparks; three sisters Annabelle Claxton, Shirley Jackson Prichard and her husband Charles, and Loretta Jackson Sherman and her Husband Russell; Odell is also survived by two close family friends, Courtney McCall and Alberta Gee.

Odell will be sadly missed by all who knew him, especially his family, friends and Church Family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted 6:00 PM Thursday August 27, 2015 at the Olive Hill Church of Christ in Olive Hill with Bro. Jim Williams Officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, Kentucky.
