Nancy Jane Fannin

1955-2017

Nancy Jane Fannin, 62, of Olive Hill, KY, went home to be with the Lord while surrounded by her family, Tuesday evening, December 26, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 3, 1955 in Ashland, KY, a daughter of the late Thamer and Ruby Gilliam Rayburn.

Mrs. Fannin was a member and attended Walnut Grove Community Church. She was a homemaker and loved reading her Bible and going to church. She enjoyed scrapbooking and spending time with her grandchildren and family, gardening and working in her flowers.  She loved helping other people and no one left her home hungry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Oscar Rayburn.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Donnie Ray Fannin;  two daughters, Angie Gilliam (Earl) of Olive Hill and Abbie Spencer (Kevin) of Mansfield, OH; one son, Christopher Fannin (Nicole) of Olive Hill; ten sisters, Margie Conley, Rosie Bond (Earl), Linda Taylor (Patrick), Barb Butler (Bobby), Diana Sammons (Mike), Garnet Nichols, Shirley Dean (Gary), Dorie Webb, Susie Henderson (Joe) and Debbie Reynolds (Phillip); five brothers, Eugene Rayburn (Bernice), Woodrow Rayburn (Pat), Arthur Rayburn (Kathy), Donnie Rayburn (Kathy) and Chalmer Rayburn (Bonnie); six grandchildren, Jacob Gilliam, Jana and Christopher Fannin, Jr., and Hunter, Aaron and Natalie Spencer; her mother and father in-law, Carl and Bertie Fannin; and sister in-law Loretta Fannin Burchett (Jay).  Nancy also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends that sadly mourn her passing.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Olive Hill, KY with Bro. Woodrow Rayburn, Bro. Eugene Rayburn and Bro. Jeff Roe officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call 6-9 PM Thursday, December 28, 2017, after 9:00 AM on Friday, December 29, 2017 and after 9:00 AM on Saturday at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street in Olive Hill, KY.
