Madeline Augusta "Billie" Proctor Blevins

1927 – 2015

Madeline "Billie" Proctor Blevins, 88, of Olive Hill passed away at the home of her daughter, Susie Williams, on the morning of December 18, 2015 while under the care of Hospice.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Winston Blevins: mother, Effie Dorsey Eikler Proctor; father, Pasel Proctor; sister Faye Messick: brother-in-law Frank Messick; sister Mamie Powers: brother-in-law Frank Powers. Brother, Bud Eikler and sister-in-law Billy Eikler.

Billie was born June 17, 1927 in Summersville, West Virginia. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Olive Hill and retired in 1992 from Gee’s Best Way in Olive Hill.

Billie is survived by one son Phillip M. Blevins and companion Elizabeth Cains of Olive Hill: one daughter Brenda "Susie" Williams and husband Mack Williams of Radford, VA. Three grandchildren, Phillip Blevins II and Stacy Blevins of Bowling Green, Ky. Johnathan Blevins of Olive Hill. Amber Blevins Bond and husband Willie Bond of Olive Hill. Eight great grandchildren, Phillip and Stacy’s daughter Ashley Leonard and husband Tony Leonard and their two daughters Bella and Addison of North Carolina, Tyler Blevins, Mason Blevins and Landon Blevins of Bowling Green, Ky; Wyatt Blevins, Ciara Blevins and mother Missy Blevins of Olive Hill. Cameron Blevins of Olive Hill. Isaac Bond, Isaiah Bond of Olive Hill. Former daughter in law, Pat Blevins of Olive Hill. Nieces Marilyn Sue Messick Buchanan and family; Patricia Lee Messick; many nieces and nephews from the Eikler family. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Carol Blevins and family in Beavercreek, Ohio.

Billie’s greatest joy in life was family, friends, beautiful flowers and her love of animals, especially cats.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday December 22, 2015 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY. Burial will follow in the McFerren Cemetery in Olive Hill.

Friends may call 6-8 PM Monday December 21, 2015 and after 8:00 am Tuesday at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home in Olive Hill, KY
