Louis Alvin Rogers, 65, of Muncie, IN, went to be with his Lord and Loved ones Sunday afternoon January 24, 2016 following a battle with cancer. He had resided in Olive Hill with his brother on Cascade Cave Road in the Home he was raised in. He was born November 17, 1950 in Olive Hill, KY.

Alvin worked for P & S Automotive repair in Ashland, KY and Retired from Borg-Warner Transmissions in Muncie, IN. He loved Hunting, Fishing, Gardening and any kind of car racing. Alvin also loved the Lord, reading his Bible and attending Church at Three Pine Freewill Baptist Church in Olive Hill

He was preceded in death by his wife Terrie Rogers; His Father Louis Martin Rogers; a sister Pamela Redmond; Maternal grandparents, Charlie and Virgie Haney Stamper; Paternal grandparents, Clarence and Elizabeth Rogers.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his mother Anna Lee Rogers of Muncie, IN; two sons, Timothy Wayne (Mary) Rogers of Muncie, IN and Shawn Allan Rogers of Olive Hill, KY; Three granddaughters, Brittany, Tiffany, and Haley Rogers; one grandson Lance Martin Rogers; one great grandson, Kaiden; his Brother and sister,  Martin Allen and Linda Folkner, who where his care givers for the past 5 Months; twin sisters, Juanita and Bonita of Muncie, IN; two step sons Chad & Brand Clevenger of Muncie, IN; His Loyal Companions and Furry Body Guards, Rudy, Junior and Sugar.

In addition to these Alvin Leaves several nieces, nephews, relatives and Friends who will sadly miss Him.

Funeral Services will be conducted 6:00 PM Thursday January 28, 2016 at the Three Pine Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Sparks Officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 6:00 PM Thursday January 28, 2016 at the Church.

Memorial Contributions may be made in Mr. Roger's Memory to the Three Pine Freewill Baptist Church in Olive Hill, KY
