Everett L. Oney, 81, of Olive Hill, KY entered into rest, Monday, March 27, 2017 at home.  He was born April 5, 1935 in Olive Hill, KY, a son of the late Arvil and Alpha Tackett Oney. 

Everett was retired from Bill’s Mobile Homes and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters; Carolyn Oney, Ruth Ann Webb and Vivian Carter.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Oney; five daughters; Crystal Oney of Olive Hill, Melissa Jordan of Grayson, Christine Brogdon, Annettia Ison Doll and Brenda Messer, all of Indiana and two sons; Mark Oney and Jim Oney, both of Olive Hill.

Mr. Oney is also survived by two sisters; Mary McKenzie of Olive Hill and Wanda Davis of West Virginia; two brothers, Ferris Oney and Denver Oney both of Olive Hill; ten grandchildren, Erin Stewart, Eric Stewart, Lanette Oney, Johnathan Jordan, Jessica Jordan, Allen Brogdon, Gretchen Messer, Keith Messer Jr., Nicholas Messer and Derek Messer and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Bro. Dave Logsdon officiating. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY.

Visitation will be 6:00 – 9:00 PM Wednesday March 29, 2017 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY.
