Bobby Joe Hedge, 70, of Olive Hill, Kentucky entered into rest Monday, November 6, 2017 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center, KY. He was born August 12, 1947 in Carter County, KY a son of the late Robert and Ruby Hedge.  Bobby was a retired merchandise representative for Lowes.  He was of the Christian faith and loved music, poetry and playing his guitar.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Amy.

He is survived by two sons, Brian Hedge (Tericia) and Joe Hedge (Heather), one daughter, Anna Maggard (Daryl); two step-sons, Terry Gee (Amandae) and Tyler Gee (Amber); two sisters Katherine Holbrook and Barbara Sammons and one brother Clayton Hedge.  He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to these, he will be greatly missed by many friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Duvall & Moore Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 149 Whitt Street, Olive Hill, KY with Bro. Terry Frerichs officiating.  Burial will follow at the Tackett Cemetery.

Friends may call 6:00 – 9:00 PM, Wednesday, November 8, 2017 and after 8:00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
